Deep Tissue Massage

The purpose of Deep Tissue massage is to restore the original position of the deeper layers of muscle and peritoneal tissues, lengthening and relaxing the muscles. It is a more intense type of massage that discharges your body from accumulated tensions by penetrating the deeper tissues of the body.

Beneficial in reducing pain, discomfort, removing tension from muscles, reducing back pain, releases endorphins that relax blood vessels allowing your body to pump blood more easily, reduces Arthritis pain, improves sleep quality.

Deep massage can be done using various techniques with the fingers, fists and elbows to relax not only the superficial muscles, but the entire second and third layers of the muscular system to help tremendously:

  • Sciatica

  • Cervical syndrome
  • Headaches
  • Tendinitis
  • Orthostatic problems

The massage will begin as a traditional relaxation massage to warm up the muscles, then the therapist will begin to work deep into the problem areas penetrating the deeper tissues of the body leaving a feeling of deep rejuvenation in your body.
