Ancient Greek Massage<\/h2>\n

The technique is based on methods of the father of medicine, Hippocrates <\/strong>and on the therapeutic approach of its inspiration, Mrs. E. Tsouknakis <\/strong>, who studied the texts of ancient philosophers and writers and handed us this unique type of massage that was applied <\/strong>in the wrestling schools<\/strong> of ancient Greece <\/strong>, in gymnasiums <\/strong>from pedotribes <\/strong>and to patients <\/strong>in Asklepiia which functioned as treatment centers<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Aim<\/strong> of treatment is healing<\/strong>, elimination, relief<\/strong> of symptoms and restoration of physical<\/strong> and psychic function<\/strong> while simultaneously bringing us into contact with ancient Greek medical thought<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Hippocratic massage, begins with mobilization<\/strong> techniques of the muscles<\/strong> in a dry body<\/strong> and then with the application of powder<\/strong>. This is followed by a more intensive massage with pure virgin olive oil<\/strong>, essential oils<\/strong> from the Greek land and massage with special<\/strong> silicone suction cups<\/strong> <\/strong> to deal with the muscular tensions<\/strong> of the body. During the session the massages alternate between mild<\/strong> and intense<\/strong> creating a feeling of deep hyperemia<\/strong> and rejuvenation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
